Six Silhouettes. One Language.
"We design for a woman who dresses with intention. Every seam, every panel, every finish is deliberate. Nothing is incidental."
— Creative Director, Maison Noir
"A collection that refuses the spectacle. Quiet luxury, worn by those who require no introduction."
Each piece is constructed in our Los Angeles atelier by a team of twelve artisans. The SS25 collection draws from a single color philosophy: the absence of color as the ultimate sophistication.
Fabrics are sourced in Italy, Japan, and Scotland. Every garment is finished by hand, pressed to specification, and individually numbered before leaving the atelier.
Available exclusively at select stockists and through appointment at our LA studio.
Maison Noir was founded in Los Angeles in 2018 by a designer who spent a decade inside the ateliers of Paris before returning to California with a singular conviction: that luxury should whisper, not shout.
The house operates on a small-batch model. We do not produce for volume. Each seasonal collection is limited to 42 pieces across six silhouettes, constructed entirely in our Silver Lake atelier by a permanent team of twelve craftspeople.
Our design philosophy is built around the concept of purposeful reduction — stripping each garment to its architectural core. A coat is engineered before it is styled. A dress is draped from the body outward, not from a sketch inward.
Sustainability is structural, not cosmetic. We use no virgin synthetic materials. Every fabric is certified through the Global Organic Textile Standard or sourced from mills we visit directly. Our deadstock program ensures zero roll-end waste across every production run.
We do not do seasonal markdowns. We do not wholesale to department stores. We exist at a deliberate distance from the noise of fashion — and we intend to remain there.
